Active Transportation NOW sent questionnaires about transportation issues to all candidates that will appear on the ballot for Chicago mayor and city council. Candidates were asked about their support for street safety upgrades, bus lanes, bike lanes, and other topics.

Missing a response from a candidate in your ward? Send or tweet them a link (mayor or alderman) and encourage them to respond. This page will be updated daily with new responses through Election Day. Candidates with questions should contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
The questionnaires are based on the Active Transportation Alliance’s - a 501(c)(3) affiliate of Active Transportation NOW - 2019 Active Transportation Agenda for Chicago. Earlier this month candidates shared their ideas about the future of Chicago bus service and other transportation topics at a mayoral forum co-hosted by Active Transportation NOW and the Pilsen Alliance.
